Check out Jamie’s new toy–he bought an old letterpress machine and has now started his own business with it. An artist by trade, Jamison can pretty much create any design you like and print it out on his letterpress machine, whether it be calendars, invitation, or stationery.
Ideal for you Omahans who can stop by his home-office for some one-on-one time. But if you’re outside Nebraska–not a problem. We’ve already hired him for our own wedding letterpress services from Washington, DC. And the result was beautiful.
Even if you don’t need letterpress services, you should experience the process. It was once a dying art that is now making a comeback in the stationery scene. Artists have located these 1-ton mammoths that were once collecting dust in the back of print shops and are bringing them back to life. Both independent artists who hand-feed each piece like Jamie, and mainstream, big-name stationery giants who have found a way to automate the process–can appreciate the look of letterpress.
So whether your in the Big O or outside the Midwest, check it out:

PS – Happy 30th, Jamison (3/2).

OMG! I am so hasoud. I have wanted a letterpress for over a year now. I thought about getting a tabletop press to start out but I would have to take an apprenticeship or class to figure out what I am doing! I can’t even walk by a Heidelberg press, especially if it is running, without drooling! Tell Jamison I am hasoud!
